Hello. I am one of the many instructors that teach at move!
My first certification was Les Mills BodyFlow which came in 2005. It was definitely a struggle at first but I was determined and stayed focused. The more I taught this format of Tai-chi, Pilates, and yoga the more comfortable I got. But that wasn't the best part. The best part was seeing how I could motivate and inspired others. That to me was the greatest feeling. Later, I went on to more certifications in BodyPump and in Grit, also Les Mills programs. I love being an Instructor because it brings me into a big family with lots of support and unlimited tools to grow and prosper. Through teaching Les Mills, I encourage and empower others to do more. Doing more creates change and isn't that what we all want?
Of course there are many components to consider making change and getting you to a better mental and physical you. Start with a few healthier choices. So that means proper Nutrition. Balanced meals and don't over eat, which many of us are accustomed to take control of your thoughts. Positive energy goes along way. Love yourself and others. And of course maintain regular exercise. Aim for at least 30 minutes of exercise a day or 2 hours and 30 minutes per week. Did you know that by exercise you can control weight, lower blood pressure, lessen your chances of heart disease, and improve mood and energy levels. Imagine what that could feel like.
